COMMON QUESTIONS
Does it run on a Macintosh PC?
We cannot test the software in a Mac environment but there are Mac users who
bought InnReserve and ran it in a virtual Windows environment on the MAC.
Can I get demo software?
No. The software is totally open so that my users can modify it if they want. There is no protection on it. When we have provided demos or "shareware" in the past the software was just simply stolen. Since we have instituted our no demo policy I have built a significant community of satisfied and honest customers and have never been asked for a refund. Your buy/no buy decision must be made on the information provided on this Web page.
What is MS Access?
Microsoft Access is a very powerful database management system upon which the InnReserve application is based. InnReserve was designed so the user doesn't need to know MS Access. However, if the user want's to take the trouble to learn MS Access then they will find that there are many more things they can do in terms of ad hoc queries, local customizations of reports, etc. You must have MS Access installed on your PC before InnReserve can operate.
Can you send me more information?
We don't deal with paper. All the documentation on InnReserve is on line at this
web site (or in the InnReserve Help file if you buy it). Installation and
instruction documentation is delivered with the InnReserve.
Can it handle more than 12 rooms?
Not without reprogramming it. One of the major features, and a limiting factor, is the feature of being able to see everything that is booked on the monthly calendar at a glance. The limiting factor is the number of rooms that can be displayed on a day square in the calendar, currently 12, or 3x4 objects in the day square.
